3 Polar RF – FAQ
1. How long is one treatment?
One treatment with 3 Polar RF machine for face and neck is between 15-20 minutes and give a nice warm massaging sensation. The entire treatment from skin preparation for the treatment until the end of the treatment is between 45 minutes to an hour.
2. When can I see the results?
First results are visible after the first treatment as cells activate to produce collagen and elasticity.
3. Can I go to work after the first treatment?
The treatment is very comfortable, does not hurt, and the only visible change will be slight redness in the skin, which in most cases disappears 2 hours after the treatment, but in some cases can last up to 2 days depending of the skin sensitivity. It is recommended to wear sun protecting lotion and stay away from sun exposure such as tanning after the treatment.
3. How many treatments are needed to see great results?
Great results depend on age and treatment area (face, neck, body). For face and neck, it is recommended to have 4 to 6 treatments, but major factors are a person’s age, and skin damage (acne, scars, age lines etc.). In extreme cases, at least 8 treatments are needed for visible results.
For cellulite and weight loss treatments, visible results are dependent on the area of treatment and desired results.
4. What is the recommended period between treatments?
Upon your first consultation, you will receive an analysis of the desired skin treatment area and our experts will give you the required period between treatments.
A Major factor in the period between treatments is a person’s age. Here are some rough examples:
If you are under the age of 40, it is recommended to have one treatment a week.
If you are age 40 to 50, it is recommended to have one treatment every other week.
If you are over the age of 50, it is recommended to have one treatment every 3 weeks.
5. What is the difference in periods between treatments?
Simply younger skin can regenerate faster due to the facts of higher metabolism and cells, while older skin needs more time to regenerate due to the opposite factors.
6. How long do the results last and how to maintain the results?
Treatments with 3 Polar RF Technology are long lasting. After the required number of treatments, the skin continues to regenerate itself and great visible results appear after 3 to 6 months. Depending of the person, our experts recommend a conditioning treatment every 3 to 6 months.
After a year or two depending of the person it is recommended to do a series of treatments again, which slows down aging and maintains a younger, better-looking skin.
