Taro Pharmaceuticals To Distribute Pliaglis In The U.S. Crescita Therapeutics has granted Taro Pharmaceuticals an exclusive license to the rights to sell and distribute Pliaglis, a topical anesthetic that sets into a peelable mask, in the U.S. market. The license agreement also includes a second-generation, patent-ending enhanced version of Pliaglis. Crescita will retain all rights to the product in Canada and Mexico. Pliaglis is a topical local anesthetic ( lidocaine 7%/tetracaine 7%) that can be used prior to superficial aesthetic treatments, such as injectables and laser procedures.
